  • Sun Garden offers replacement parts covered by the warranty at no charge. Consumers pay for shipping and an repair company to install or repair their umbrellas. CLICK HERE for repair companies. Upon email response from Sun Garden customer support you will be asked to include year of purchase and clear photos of the issue and the area of the umbrella exhibiting the issue. 

    FRAME: 2 year warranty on the frame covers workmanship and manufacturer defects to the entire frame.

    NOTE: Warranty does not cover any type of wind damage, animal attacks, flood, fire, abuse, damages from improper setup or use, or "acts of god."

    Our warranty comes on the basis that Sun Garden GMBH will offer one replacement part or canopy that has become defective due to material or production fault on the condition that the Consumer is responsible for any shipping costs or labor to install.

    CANOPY: 5 year warranty as of January 1, 2015. This warranty covers seams coming undone and fading. 

    Warranty does not cover: punctures, tears, rips, pulls, any type of wind damage, any type of stain, animal attacks, flood, fire, abuse, damages from improper setup or use, and "acts of god."

    Our warranty comes on the basis that Sun Garden will offer one replacement part or canopy that has become defective due to material or production fault on the condition that the Consumer is responsible for any shipping costs or labor to install.

    UMBRELLA CORD: 1 year warranty NOTE: Warranty does not cover any type of wind damage, animal attacks, flood, fire, abuse, damages from improper setup or use, or "acts of god.

    Our warranty comes on the basis that Sun Garden will offer one replacement part or canopy that has become defective due to material or production fault on the condition that the Consumer is responsible for any shipping costs or labor to install.

    MISSING PARTS: The customer has 15 days to file a claim from date of purchase

    Damages: Any damages must be reported with in 14 days of receipt

    The following Will not be covered under warranty:

    -If the product is out of the warranty period 

    -Products from which the serial number has been removed, destroyed, or is unreadable

    -Damages occurring as a result of non-observance of the assembly/operating manuals, unauthorized repairs, or improper use/installation (e.g. tipping, falls, etc.) 

    -Physical damages occurring as a result of accident or negligence (e.g. rips/tears, fire/smoke, chemicals, fireworks, mold/mildew, etc.) 

    -Damages occurring as a result of weather/wind, heat, or animal damages (e.g. rips, tears, holes, etc.) 

    -Parts that are thrown away accidentally

  • Our Canopy Swap Program allows our consumers to swap canopy colors within 14 days of their purchase. Please fill out the contact form below and include the online order number of your purchase.

    All returned canopies must be checked prior to shipping the new canopy. *ALL CANOPIES MUST BE SENT BACK CLEAN, FREE OF DEBRIS, AND IN RESALE CONDITION | PLEASE DO NOT FOLD/LAY THE CANOPY ON THE GRASS/DRIVEWAY!*

    Umbrellas are shipped out for home delivery by LTL a transportation delivery company based on the customer's location.

    Customers who request a delay from the shipper of their order is fully responsible for all charges and fees including redelivery and storage charges that may occur.

  • Please secure your canopy fabric “bud” to the the pole itself after every use, overnight, and in bad weather. In case that you loose your strap please contact us at info@sungarden.us or use a small bungee cord to strap the canopy in place to the pole. Having the canopy assembly in place before placing a cape over your umbrella is vital in making sure that it is secure.

    WIND RATING DISCLAIMER: Sun Garden is field and wind tunnel tested. We know exactly what happens to our umbrellas at specific speeds: at 20 MPH open Sun Garden parasols become a tipping hazard, and at 25 MPH open the umbrella can tip over. When your Sun Garden Umbrella is properly secured to the frame, canopy closed and strapped secure, it will not tip exceeding winds of 60MPH. As with all patio umbrellas, please close your Sun Garden when left unattended or in windy conditions.

    PERSONAL CARE: KEEP YOUR UMBRELLA SECURE!

    -Place base on a level surface.

    -Properly close and secure your umbrella during winds of 20 miles per hour or greater.

    -Always close the umbrella when left unattended.

    -Secure the canopy to the mast with the strap.

  • The Protective cover (PE for short) has a drawstring closure and is included on every umbrella we sell globally, online, and in stores. Every store in which our umbrella is sold comes with a free Protective cover and the Sun Cape is sold as a separate accessory.

    We include protective covers at no cost to the consumer with every umbrella to ensure that our customers have a weather grade protective cover for their umbrellas during storms and for storing the umbrella over the winter months.
